Candidatei-me por indicação de um funcionário. Fui entrevistado pela Google (Austin, TX) em ago. de 2019

      Entrevista

I had a phone screen that lasted about 15 minutes and that was a great experience. She made it seem like this was going to be a slam dunk for me. This person scheduled another interview to meet with a senior recruiter. I had an interview scheduled and this "Senior Recruiter" called me 5 minutes late saying she needed to reschedule...no reason was given, or even an apology, for being late. We rescheduled for a week later. Keep in mind, I studied for this interview more than I've studied for an interview because it was a job I knew I'd be great at and in something I've had tons of experience doing already. For our second interview, a week later, she's late again, this time by 10 minutes. I figured she was just busy and was juggling a lot. Throughout my interview, the "Senior Recruiter" was extremely impolite. For a company as big and powerful as Google, I figured the person interviewing me would be polished and professional. I found my experience to be quite the opposite; to be honest, the whole interview was her patronizing me and explaining how Google has given her opportunities in life and that if you work hard you can get what you want out of your company. It was weird. When it was time for me to ask questions, I asked about 3 questions before she cut me off in the middle of one and said: "Well, it sounds like we're done for the day." That was it. The interview lasted maybe 10 minutes when I was told the interview would be about 45 minutes. It's okay to be proud of where you work and the experiences you've had, but try not to come off as superior. This was one of the worst interviews I've ever partaken in. Lastly, I was not offered the job because I didn't have enough management experience. During my interview, I was never asked ONE question about how I've managed a team before...and I'm a sales manager at my current company.
