Two rounds of interviews. This initial stage, which we call Round 1, will consist of two 45-minute interviews broken out as follows: One Programming, Data Structures, and Algorithms interview One non-technical behavioral interview

The interview was split into two 45 minute sections, one for technical review and one for non-technical. The tactical interview involved a single question, similar to what you might find on Leetcode but recontextualized from a Google perspective, with further iteration in this context. The non-technical interview involves some basic background questions, as well as a number of questions about how you have handled certain situations in the past or would handle situations you might encounter at Google. The interview didn't feel particularly difficult, and I prepared a decent amount with a short time I had available, but in the moment I often got blinded by trying to come up with an answer immediately rather than come up with the correct answer, which led me to falter in a few places and appear suboptimal.
