Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Granola (Londres, Inglaterra).
Entrevista
The interview process was one screening call with a recruiter, a call with the COO and then a task which involved role play and a prioritisation of leads. Overall it was relatively quick and were very responsive along the way.

What's the deal that you're most proud of, and can you walk me through the process from beginning to end?
Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 3 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Granola em out. de 2025
Entrevista
There are 3 steps to the interview process. One with the recruiter which is about 30 minutes long. If he likes you, you move onto the case study. Then the final interview is with the Head of Customer Experience.
I haven’t heard back from them. Basically ghosted. I followed up twice since then and crickets. Sucks because the people seem cool and the company seems great.

Great overall experience, very quick response to my application and follow-up after interviews. I had a first interview with the Chief of Staff as an intro to the company and the role - this was great to get an overview of the company and their current needs, why they were hiring for this role etc. There was loads of opportunity for me to ask questions which I really appreciated.
I was then sent a take-home task about how I would keep the company close to customers, and then another call with the CEO to talk through this task and a few other questions about my background.
I didn't get the role at the time but they gave me some really thoughtful and considered feedback, sent me some biscuits in the post to say thanks for interviewing, which I thought was a really nice touch. They also reached out a few months later when another role on the same team opened up, and asked if I'd like to come and do a two-week paid work trial. This was a great opportunity to get to know the team, and get a feel for whether the role was right for me. I know not everyone has the flexibility to do a two-week trial but I think even a day or two of paid work has a lot more value than online interviews - more companies should do this!
The pay rate for the trial was also very fair, so even if the it hadn't gone well, I wouldn't have felt inconvenienced by the process.

I was given an export of user feedback and feature requests and asked to identify themes and recommendations to keep the company in touch with user needs
