overall quick and painless. The representative answered all my questions and helped me understand what was expected of me. I had a few months of training and then was sent to prepare taxes.

What would make me a good fit? Did I have any prior experience?
Interview was after passing their tax course, which is about 30 hours. Interview was a formality as they will hire just about anyone who passes their course or had tax prep experience.

Entrevista
Upon completing the application through the H&R Block website , I followed up with a call to their office and spoke with a preparer to schedule my interview. I interviewed with two preparers who had a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field. They were very welcoming and kind. They asked me about my prior work experience and spoke to me about their experience and backgrounds. It felt more like a conversation than the usual feeling of an interrogative interview, which I liked. They also allowed space for me to ask questions. It was an amazing interview process.
