I chatted in detail with the managers of the team over Video Chat, 2 or 3 - 30 mins meetings. That was followed up with a Lunch to meet and engage with members of the team. After that We spent quite a bit of time walking around the streets of Portland and chatting. It was a unique experience and I wish more companies that I interviewed at during this process would take a more person centered approach to the interviewing process. After I had a few interviews with other teams at HeathSparq, but those were even less formal, and more testing how I would interact with other people. Last interview was with the CTO and his primary focus was to find out if I had a long term plan as a professional and if HealthSparq would help me achieve that.
