Was excited for the opportunity at Houst after receiving an invite for an initial interview. I joined the first interview and no one joined, I truly understand that life happens and things come up unexpectedly but the communication was really bad. I had to follow up after the interview mentioning that no one had shown up to interview me. A day later I was asked if I could rather attend an interview the next day which I agreed to. After that it was radio silence and no one ever got back to me again despite sending numerous follows up. I’ve never experienced this ever during an interview process and was quite disappointed at how candidates are treated so early on. I later saw the job was reposted under a different role but still no one reached out to communicate anything or apologize for the confusion and silence. How a company treats you before even entering does speak to the culture.

3 stages: 1) Meeting with HR, 2) 30-60 mins with team members 4) 30 min chat with CEO.
One of the weirdest situations that I've been in. CEO showed up late and hungover for the interview. He was incredibly despondent, so much so that I asked if he wanted to do this another time. He could hardly answer my questions about the company in full sentences. On top of all that, I was then ghosted by their hr team. Incredibly poor experience, regardless of what they thought of me as a candidate; it's shocking behaviour.

4 Step Interview Process -
1) Initial screening call with Talent Aquisition Lead,
2) Video interview with hiring manager.
3) On-site interview with hiring manager
Initially a positive experience, and the hiring manager (Global Head of Sales) was nice enough, but appears that Houst do not know what they are looking for as they've advertised this role and repackaged the title and responsibilities for the last 6 months. Other roles are also the same with no hires made; seems like a waste of time for all parties involved.
Was told i'd hear back regarding next steps but never head from the recruiter; and wasn't impressed enough to chase a response either way.
