This question is very vague. However, there are many angles to attack this problem. We can increase profit by either increasing price or cutting cost. Our strategy may not affect our customers the same way so we have to do customer segmentation to address each segment specifically. Are we talking about Luxury goods? Increasing the price of luxury goods may have a positive effect on customer retention if we maintain a good customer service. Improving process inefficiencies and cutting cost(labor, logistics, fixed capital etc) of production can significantly lower our cost and increase our profit without having any negative effect on our customer base.
