Fui entrevistado pela IXL Learning (Raleigh, NC) em jul. de 2015
Entrevista
I was a bit skeptical about IXL Learning after seeing some of the previous reviews on Glassdoor but decided to give it try anyway. Initially applied after seeing a post online and received an email asking for a short 15-30 minute phone interview within a few days. The phone interview questions were standard, and included a brain teaser as mentioned here by others. Overall I felt that the interview went very well and I was very optimistic. After receiving the written assignment it was completed and submitted within a few days. The next week I received an automated message telling me that while they were impressed with my qualifications they were no longer interested.
There was no contact from the employee who interviewed me, no feedback on my written work, and I was unable to send a follow up Thank You message. As the written assignment stated that the problems were current works-in-progress, this company may be fishing for hours of free work for only 20 minutes of their time. Proceed with caution!
Pretty straightforward. The recruiter will call you and ask some pre-screening question then you will be asked to complete a task within a week. The task consists of grammatical correction, alignment and information clarity.
Had a phone screening which went well, followed by a work product. The instructions on the work product were overall very vague, and took a lot of guessing/assuming what they were looking for. It took me about 5 hours total, and I received a rejection email stating that no feedback would be given and with no further explanation.
Candidatei-me online. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa IXL Learning.
Entrevista
The interview consisted of a recruiter call. Then a 2nd call. Then a remote meeting via zoom where I was drilled with questions that didn't seem to math the role I applied for. Zero emotions shown. No smiles.
