The first round of the interview went smoothly, and I heard back from HR soon enough for the next round. The next round was the on-site interview (final interview) with a project manager and developer. This was an hour-long interview with technical, contextual, and behavioral questions. The team was very nice and kind and willing to provide me some time to think through questions. However, after the interview, they said they would get back to me within a week, but I didn't hear back at all, so I sent HR a couple of follow-up emails, yet still got ghosted. I didn't understand how this could happen after the final interview, but I just hope that they will at least send out a rejection email.

First of all, they spelled my name wrong (despite it being in the email) and added a gender (I wasn't offended or anything) but I corrected them with my gender and the spelling of my name. Then it came to picking a time. I understand there was some back and forth and something came up last minute so I requested a time in a certain window and they go ahead and schedule it for the next hour, outside the window. Honestly, if a company can't even make the effort to READ an email with some attention, I can't even imagine what it's like to work there. I don't know if this is normal but it's been a horrible experience so far and I haven't even interviewed yet.
