You have a recruiter call and waste your time for thirty minutes. They have never stepped foot on your potential unit. I had one recruiter go over salary and another one just say "I don't know about that, I don't control it," without me bringing up the issue. For one position there was a remote interview before an in person interview and unit shadow. My biggest red flag was that all the nurses I met were either brand new or had been on the unit less than two years. I was told there were more seasoned staff but I didn't meet them.

Filled out application, Recruiter interview a few days later. manager Phone interview and then a zoom interview. Was offered position during interview. Took a while to get the offer sent in writing.
