      Candidatura

Candidatei-me por meio de recrutador(a). O processo levou 3 meses. Fui entrevistado pela LinkedIn (Londres, Inglaterra) em dez. de 2016

      Entrevista

The company's Insights team has a drawn-out, three-stage process that lasted over a calendar quarter in my case. There were initial screening interviews by the recruiter and a line manager. It was followed by interviews with potential colleagues. There was an exercise that involved a vague brief; a presentation and a written document were required. A final interview was conducted in which a somewhat antagonistic and unprepared potential future line manager asked me to basically answer the same questions I had already answered during the first round of interviews. There was feedback provided at the end of the process by the recruiter, most of which was categorically untrue.

O processo levou 2 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela LinkedIn (Dublin, Dublin) em ago. de 2018

      Entrevista

Contacted by LinkedIn on LinkedIn to schedule a call to discuss the role. Had an initial screening and then was asked to prepare a case study/exercise on the benefits of a customer investing in a LinkedIn career page. The brief had very limited information and I had to do a lot of research on my own which took time. I then had two peer interviews, a technical test and then two more interviews with the hiring manager and a regional sales director. I passed all tests and was told I did well in the exercise only to be told that I wasn’t senior enough for the role and that they wanted someone with management experience which sounded like a nonsense excuse to me. I’ve been a manager for 5 years already in my current role and was even told in the initial screening that the role was not a manager role (which I was okay with as I am looking for a change). People were friendly and the energy and vibe that you get when being at the office is great but I felt like my time was wasted with all the interviews and tests and case studies. I feel that before you are asked to complete case studies, you should do the interviews as investing over two days in completing slides and doing analysis seems like a waste of time if the manager doesn’t even like you in the first place...
