Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 3 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela LinkedIn (Bengaluru) em jan. de 2020
Entrevista
The HR representative approached over phone and gave details about the position. Although the position was in Trust and mostly related to back-end tools, I thought it would be a good opportunity to have a good brand and maybe move towards the core side later. Had a first round with hiring manager over Zoom and was forwarded to onsite. Onsite had 5 rounds 2 with Group Product Managers, 1 with SPM, 1 with Product Director and 1 with Data Science Director. One of the GPMs couldn't hear me due to some technical issue with their onsite equipment, didnt have the courtesy to tell me that he was not able to hear my answers and then complains to the HR that I could not hear the line properly. I had requested for a redo but that suggestion was thrashed by the HR. The schedule was to have 4 rounds of half an hour each without a break. The 4 rounds went for 4 hours and I was left gasping for breath. I had to forcefully take 1 loo break in between just to gather my thoughts. Firstly, I think you can test patience and stress within the interview period, then give a break and then again test it. Anyways, thats that. HR mentioned that he will get back next week with feedback. Radio Silence for 2 weeks and when I approach HR, he does not pick up a call or respond to WhatsApp message. After 1 year of lockdown in Bangalore, the same HR again comes to me with the same position and this time promises to schedule the interview. 1 week later I still await the scheduling and hope that it doesn't get scheduled just because all the hours of preparation and attending interviews will go down the drain with radio silence.
My suggestion to candidates giving interviews with LinkedIn. Go ahead only if you do not have better respectful brands to interview for and be prepared not to hear back from them later, in case you do not suit their needs. Its just Use and Throw for LinkedIn HR. Except for the Data Science Head, rest of the interviewers were extremely respectful.
