Entrevista
Applied as APD candidate. Submitted resume and essay on website. Got email to take MckPST 2 weeks later. The test was an hour and much more difficult than practice test on their website. You should also practice by doing 1 GMAT or LSAT analytic / quantitative section. After the test, there were 2 "non-evaluative" group case workshops: facilitator presents case, asks everyone to think about next step, then talks about it, then next step, then talks about it, until end of case. Next day got an email that I can advance to the next round.
I disliked the McKPST greatly, but liked the group sessions a lot.

McKPST had 26 questions. I completed 3/4 of questions and guessed rest. Passed onto next round.

Entrevista
The interview is structured exactly as the preparation materials describe, i.e. personal fit and case. All interviewers were friendly and supportive. After each interview round I received helpful feedback. The cases are not easy but fair.

First, there is a computer test screening. Then, you get invited for the first round interview, usually conducted by an AP. Then, for second round, you have two interviews with Partners. You get feedback quickly, less than a week between interview and feedback

3 stage interview with increasing seniority. Opportunity to prepare with current colleagues prior to interview which was useful. Straight forwards process, no big suprises if you prepare in advance but prep is needed
