At first, it looked like Miller was very interested in me. I got a phone interview with the recruiter a day after putting my application in. I got contacted the next day to be a schedule an in-person interview with the Accounting Manager the next week. During the interview, everything felt relax. I was asked basic interview questions. They asked about myself, my background, and my skills. They even made the offer if I wanted to talk about another position that they did not post yet that they thought I would also be a good fit for. Overall, I left the interview feeling confident and felt like they like me.
After the interview, I did not hear from them for 2 weeks. I decided to send a follow up email to the recruiter to see if there were any updates and have not heard anything back. It has been 5 weeks since the in-person interview and I have not heard anything from Miller. They even posted the position that was talked about to me in the interview that they did not post at the time and thought I was good fit for but now did after the 5 weeks of no communication.
Overall, the lack of communication from Miller was very negative. To go from being very interested in me to not hearing anything from all is extremely disappointing. If it was something in the interview that I needed to work, I should have the right to know as a job seeker so I can better improve on myself. I see this is a common thing for Miller giving that other interviewers on here is experiencing the same situations after the interview where they ghost candidated. If Miller does not approve in this aspect, then there will be a lack of applicants due to this lack of trust and communication. Especially since I was excited in wanting to join the company due to hearing about their culture and how everyone has been happy working there.
We are sorry to hear you had a bad experience as communication is very important to us. Once final decisions are made emails are sent to all candidates who interviewed for a role.

Consulting grab. 3 interviews. One with hr made sense, after that I went off the rails. If you need a consultant to manage your MSP transition and office relocation, you should hire a consultant and pay their fee. Using the interview process to extract free strategy from industry experts is unethical and has clearly already damaged your professional reputation on platforms like this. It’s also evident that there isn't enough actual work to justify a full-time position once these immediate projects are solved.

How do I measure the work of the msp we have working for us?
All of our interviews are important to us and provides the opportunity to hear how people see and potentially address issues and projects. The more insight we can gain about who a candidate is and how their past experience will compliment the needs of the position today and in the future is what we're looking to identify. We hope to communicate who we are and what you can expect to every candidate involved in the interview process for any given role.

Entrevista
The interview process included a 45-minute phone interview with the Talent Acquisition Director, a two-hour Teams interview with the VP of IT, and an onsite session with the Talent Acquisition Director, VP of IT, and CFO that lasted about 3.5 hours. The VP of IT outlined job duties; the CFO focused on candidate background, and the final meeting was again with the Talent Acquisition Director. I followed up twice after the interviews due to a lack of response, first being told there were holiday delays, but after over a month, I received no further correspondence from Miller Transportation Group.
I dedicated considerable time to the interview process, and I would have appreciated receiving a response.
Instead, Miller Transportation Group ghosted me….

I was asked how I would manage two vendors with a history of poor collaboration on an upcoming project.
At Miller we strive to provide timely and accurate feedback to any candidate who takes time to interview in-person for any position. Once the hiring process is finalized it is our policy to let anyone who was involved in the in-person interview process know a decision has been made. We will always communicate feedback as quickly as possible and as soon as any decision becomes final though some positions do take longer than others to fill.
