Gave a scientific talk about 45 min about my PhD project and got lots of questions and great discussion. Met the lab members for the rest of the day. Got the offer at the end of the day. Had a nice dinner.

The interview process began with an initial screening conducted by members of the laboratory. This stage focused on assessing general fit, communication skills, and alignment with the group’s research interests. Subsequently, the discussion transitioned into a more in-depth evaluation of my academic background and prior research. I was asked to elaborate on my published work, including the scientific rationale, methodologies employed, and key findings. The conversation also explored my ability to critically analyze research in the field.
