I was reached out to for a sales position. The person that screened me over the phone made it sound like I would be pushed to the next round but I never heard back. I thought that the questions were quite dull. She asked if I’m comfortable handling a $3m territory and I answered yes and gave her my past sales metrics based on SIGNIFICANTLY SMALLER companies that I worked for which is still impressive. If people like this are looking for sales people from larger companies then maybe they need to research peoples work history before reaching out to them. The same way if you see I’m working at a company for a year and you want someone with more tenure why are you reaching out to me in the first place? To waste our time.
Also what I thought was strange was the entire sales team bounces back and forth between two showrooms. This makes NO sense to me and sounds chaotic. I think this is another toxic company.

Entrevista
Lengthy process that included a high-level design project prompt. The project itself was quite in-depth for a preliminary screening and labor intensive. The project itself should have been more straightforward given the role was only for custom development and not designing for an in-line assortment of new goods. Project was to complete designs based on provided trends and supporting trend research.
Nonetheless the interviewers liked the project I completed and made it to the next round for a virtual meeting with direction and lead designer.
Upon the interview, I realized they didn't thoroughly review my qualifications, especially the director. She seemed surprised to know I did custom rug development even though it was clearly noted in my resume. But honestly not surprised considering her background was not in textile development for rugs so possibly a bit of a learning curve perhaps or in a rush to fill the role.

Easy friendly process initially with experienced Head Hunter with good knowledge of the company history. Second interview with direct supervisor very professional and thorough assessment of capabilities and clear if too high expectations.
