A recruiter reached out to me and scheduled a video interview with the hiring manager and another team contributor. They asked pretty basic questions about my role and was more laid back.
They invited me back for a second interview and they included an additional person in that interview and that person asked tougher questions and was not as laid back.
The thing I disliked the most was that in the first interview I asked about compensation and they said they didn't know, they didn't deal with pay and that I would receive an email. In the second interview I let them know I didn't receive an email and I'd still like to know about compensation, and they basically blew me off again.
In all the other jobs I was looking at, compensation was discussed at the first interaction. It's the best way for everyone to know that we're not wasting each others time. I much prefer that.

Had a preliminary call with an HR associate. Stays in touch for possible next rounds. Then there was an interview with department lead & other professionals. They asked questions about professional background.
