Candidatei-me online. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Pfizer.
Entrevista
Quick HR screening, then talked with Hiring Manager and went for an on-site interview. On-site interview was an all-day event, and it consisted of a few one-on-one interviews and a panel interview with the team you'd be working with. It was a long process, they asked behavioral & technical questions and questions related to Pfizer's core values. Everyone was very nice, and made you feel comfortable. I didn't hear back for 3 weeks, so I reached out and that's when they let me know they went with a different candidate.

How your skills would apply to the position, how you have exemplified various Pfizer values (joy, courage, excellence, equity). What your own goals and values are. Describe a time where you... failed, had conflict, learned something new, etc.
The question they asked were very hard to answer and abstract. HR pay range was on the lower end of range 70K. The Hiring manager was very stern and lacked any emotion.

Interview was nice but didn't get the curtesy of a rejection just ghosted. They seemed like nice people and it seems like a good place to work. They asked me a lot of technical questions and situational questions.

About a week after I submitted an online application, the HR reached out to me for a 30 minute phone call. Basic questions about my resume, prior research experiences, base salary expectations, and career goals were asked. At the end of the phone call, the HR scheduled a Teams meeting with the hiring manager for the following day. Interview via Teams with the hiring manager and one other scientist went great. A little more technical this time, but nothing too crazy. A week later, a panel interview was scheduled. On the day of the panel interview, I spoke to 4 groups of senior scientists/directors (2 people per group) for about 4 hours in total. The interview was much harder than I expected. It was 100% technical questions and 0% personality/behavioral questions. I did my best and tried to give them a positive first impression. 3 days after my interview, the hiring manager reached out to me via email informing me that a business decision was made to postpone the hiring of a senior associate scientist possibly till next year... Not the outcome I wanted, but there was nothing more I could do. I did thank them for their transparency.
