I had answered to all properly and got selected. Package was finalized and as per discussion with HR, had shared all documents for further processing. HR told me that they will release offer letter in a week time and since then I was waiting for offer letter and following up with HR team but never got reply and yesterday (i.e. after 2 months) got an auto generated email stating your profile can not be considered at this moment. I discussed with other friends and came to know IBM is master in backoff. This has happened with lot of laterals. Basically they can't afford package, they want to hire high skilled experience resources with low wages. If your are laterals and looking for switch. please don't consider IBM even as your last option. There are good small companies in the market who offers good package and job safety than IBM.
