I interviewed directly with the hiring manager--this person also happened to be the direct report for the position. The entire process included two 30-minute phone interviews and one on-call written exercise. I spoke with the same person for each of these phases.

I interviewed several years ago when the content department was under different management. I went through two rounds of interviews and an on-call "writing test" all with the same person. Questions were very straightforward (training, experience with online platforms, writing approach, etc). The test was writing example content (blog + social posts) while the interviewer watched my process. It was roughly a two-week interview process, largely related to my own scheduling issues.
