I had been a follower of the Dave Ramsey for many years. Was totally sold on the philosophy and was well aware ahead of time of the company culture, mission and beliefs. I would suggest no one apply there unless they are very much on board with that (personally, I feel it's a company's prerogative to set a specific culture in place and only hire those who they feel will hold similar beliefs).
The company operates under Christian principles, which I personally found very appealing as I'm seeking a solid, faith based company with purpose. I had 1 phone screening and 3 interviews via ZOOM (I am not in their area and am seeking relocation). I was provided excellent information right from the beginning as far as what to expect of the interview process, which I appreciated. I knew up front that the company is extremely selective and that the interview process can take a few months.
All interviewers made me feel welcomed and appreciated. I felt I was a great fit both with experience and with company culture. However, I ultimately was not offered the position. While I was disappointed, I totally understood. When the recruiter called to provide the news that I'd not been selected, he seemed very genuine in telling me that he wanted me to hold onto his contact information and use him as an additional resource in the future should I have any questions. I took him at his word, and a couple weeks afterwards, I emailed him some pertinent questions on what he might recommend I do to sharpen my skills, etc. to perhaps make me a better fit in the future. ::: Crickets ::: No response. This made me feel as if the entire process was much more disingenuous than I had thought. It was a real disappointment to be "invited" to reach out, but upon doing so, to receive no response. This soured me somewhat, on the experience, to be honest. It's unfortunate because I truly felt it had been a positive experience up until that point.
