The interview wasn't hard. Typical interview questions, tell me about your strengths, weaknessnes, why this job, why Randstad, why are you looking for a new job, describe a time when you disagreed with your manager-what did you do. I interviewed first with the area manager and was brought back for a second interview with the branch manager. Branch manager was not super friendly/professional based on first impression. Walked in, BM was available, did not acknowledge I walked in- didn't say hi or anything. I waited until she was ready and then she introduced herself. Didn't ask me too many questions-rather "what questions do you have for me? What do you want to know about randstad?" I talked more on the recruiting side during my second interview with the BM rather than talking about sales. If you want the job, just tell them you want to be in sales and talk about sales. That's what they want to hear. Obviously, I didnt get the job bc i didnt just only talk about sales. Submitted my resume one night, got a call from the recruiter the next day. There were a couple of tests you take online which you have to pass before you get the in person interview. The process was quick. Like another poster mentioned, if they like you-they are all over you, if not-they drop the ball. I knew the BM didn't like me but I followed up with the recruiter to see what the decision was after. That ball was dropped...didnt hear back.
