There are three stages to the interview process:
1. 30-minute phone screen (behavioral, basic questions like tell me about yourself, etc)
2. Case Study (they provide you material to study for, mental math is revolved around multiplication and percentage change)
3. Super day (1 behavioral, 2 cases different individual case study, 1 team-based case study with excel)
Overall it was a good experience and the interviewers were very relaxed. However it would be helpful if Red Venture could provide feedback on the interview process after going through all of them.
Some tips and tricks to prepare for the interviews:
-30 minute phone screen: It's mainly behavioral, prepare to answer basic questions using the STAR method. Show the interviewer your knowledge of the company by asking them questions about its strategies/latest news.
-Case Study: The first half is all about mental math. Be sure to watch mental math consulting videos and online practice before your interview. Be sure to say out loud your thinking process and the steps you've taken to solve the math problems, they care more about your thinking process than accuracy. Also be prepared with digital marketing terms and strategies, they'll ask a few after the mental math portion.
-Super Day: For the case studies they're very similar to the interview from before so study the same way. Behavioral is going to be a little bit tricky, the interviewer will ask a lot of hypothetical questions instead of the usual questions. As long as you prepare yourself using the RAPID method they sent you, you should be fine. For the Excel team case study, make sure you study the marketing terms, tactics, and strategies. It's very important to understand these since this is what will separate you from other candidates. Be sure to provide an effective sales pitch about yourself on stage, since you will be speaking with some senior associate/manager for this team. Most importantly, show curiosity about the interviewer's journey with their career/Red Venture. At this stage, it seems that they are focusing more on whether you're a good fit for the company and if you vibe well with others.
Hope this helps, and good luck!
