      Initial interview: I had an initial call with the founder to get to know each other. He was able to give many insights and a good overview of where they are and what their future is. Take-home test: The take-home test involved a fairly simple use-case to solve. This test was really useful to get to understand Revenuecat better since in order to solve it you had to read RevenueCat's SDK documentation & understand the different products that they offer. Take-home test interview: After submitting the take home-test I had 1 hour call to go over it and also to ask many questions about the role and what does the work look like on a day to day basis.

      Overall, the process was very smooth and everyone I met with was lovely! One negative is that the time from which I applied to first hearing that I got the screening interview was about 1.5 months, but after that, every step I got feedback if I was moving forward within a few hours or day of the interview. You could tell everyone genuinely loved working there and cared for you as an individual.

      In general, the interview process was okay, nothing to write home about. However, the negative review from my side comes from the fact that I did not receive any feedback on why I was rejected. After two rounds of interviews (and a take home assignment in between), and investing considerable amount of time, I'd like to at least know what was the reason for the rejection. Instead, I got the typical AI generated mail saying how tough of a decision it was and that "we'd like to stay in touch to interview you in the future". Great, maybe instead of that you could give me some pointers that could make me a better candidate in that future you're talking about. Disappointed.

      Entrevista

      The interview process consisted of five interviews, including two tests. It was long and thorough, but every interviewer was kind and supportive. It genuinely felt like they were rooting for me, which took a lot of the stress off. Most of the time, it seemed like they were trying to understand my character rather than focusing only on specific skills or experience. I also enjoyed the tests - they were practical and measured common sense and attention to detail rather than specific skills.
