Overall process was 8 months. Had 4 rounds over 4 months, with big gaps in between though recruiter kept me warm. Also had a last minute notice for one of the interviews. Interviewers were actually great, showed interest, were very friendly and made sure you were comfortable. After 4 rounds, I was ghosted and ignored. After another 4 months, I was sent an automated rejection letter. I know it was automated because the recruiter's name was simply listed as "[not available]". Perhaps just don't have any expectations that they will update you after spending so much time on the interviews.

Screening with the recruiter followed by interview with the hiring manager. 2 weeks passed and I never heard back from the recruiter. I emailed both recruiter and hiring manager and never got a response.
