SAMSUNG SISO ON CAMPUS EXPERIENCE - IIIT ALLAHABAD written test consisted of 50 questions .. its basically called GSAT - global samsung aptitude test (25 Data Intrepretation + 20 REASONING + 5 aptitude ) Data Interpretation - was very simple - speed matters a lot reasoning - seating arrangement types there were effectively 6 questions (paragraphs)- and 4-5 questions based on each paragrapgh making the total to 20 and then at last 5 aptitude questions based on profit and loss , percentages , etc the cut off usually will be very high... its some what difficult to get thru the exam without any help.. i would suggest you to sit with your friend and share the questions among urself.. there won't be any sets ... all will have the same question paper then there will be a programming aptitude test.. 20 questions has to be solved in 30 minutes questions are based on pointers , data structures and basic c programs will be given asking for the right output all are MCQ types based on these 2 tests , the shortlisting will be done for interviews..(both the tests scores will be considered) technical interview its also again based on c(pointers in particular) + data structures(linked lists and binary search trees are enough) + os (some times) for me , it went like this.. 1) what is self referential structure ? give an example with code 2) what is static variable ? where the memory allocation is done for it ? 3) what is quick sort ? complexity ? pros and cons 4) what is j-k flip flop ? (as i am an ECE guy, he asked me this ) 5) then about my project it wont be dat easy for everyone.. i was quite lucky .. he dint drill much on the concepts.. but.. generally the level will be a bit higher than these questions.. then the HR round only 2 questions were asked to me in this round 1) tel me about urself 2) why do u want to join samsung ? dats it... out of 44 students shortlisted for interviews , 15 got the final offers.
