First, there was an informal discussion with the hiring manager about the position. Then I was invited in to meet the group (about 10 one-on-one meetings) and present my graduate work.

I applied through employee referral. Received an email after 4 days from hiring manager for phone interview. 30 min phone screen- manager asked for general background of my PhD work and described the postdoc position role. (the position was an excellent fir to my background) Called for onsite interview following week. 30 minute 1:1 interviews with members of the department. 1 hour presentation was required. Received offer 10 days after the onsite interview
