initial interview via phone. Second round is with a Regional VP in person and then with the VP of sales. Benefits and TPA experience is not required but beneficial to get off to a good start. The products are detailed.
Applied on LinkedIn and received a response within a few days to have a virtual interview with the recruiter the following Monday. She asked mainly behavioral questions and questions regarding my experience. From there, she scheduled an interview with the RVP the following day. It was very conversational - definitely not like an interrogation. He then had a fellow RVP interview with me the next day, which was more situational and behavioral. She asked a lot of questions challenging resiliency. Lastly, I interviewed with the EVP of Sales mainly asking my likeness for the opportunity/industry and stressing how this role truly is a long-term investment. Even though my last interview was the same week as their National Sales Conference, they still made me an offer on the evening of my final interview. This 4-step process took exactly 1 week. Other companies really need to follow suit. This company does not play around when they have talent in front of them and the EVP stressed that, as he's missed out on great people in the past because of "check box" processes. I accepted the offer!

After applying, I was sent an email providing days and time slots for a 15 minute phone interview. The recruiter call and quite frankly left a bad impression. He was unprofessional and sounded more like a car salesman. He asked what my salary expectations were, I gave him a range that was significantly over what they had budgeted. Although the title was Director, the salary they had budgeted was probably more appropriate for an entry level salesperson. Nevertheless, the recruiter said had would speak with the hiring manager to see if they could narrow the gap and follow up with me before the end of the week. Later that afternoon, I received a cookie cutter decline email. Overall, they interview process gave me a bad impression of the companies competence.
