Heard about the position from a former coworker/friend, sent resume to the friend to apply. Was invited to interview shortly thereafter. Interviewed with about 6 people all at once. The interview went really well. One interviewer wanted to see more work, but I didn't have a lot of work related to what he wanted to see. I worked on a very small sample project after the interview showing an understanding of those skills and sent it to my friend to show him. My friend said he thought I did really well and that everyone liked me. I didn't hear back for a month. I then received a generic Jobvite response, "Thank you for giving us the opportunity to consider you for employment. We have reviewed your background and qualifications and find that we do not have an appropriate position for you at this time. We appreciate your interest in The VOID and wish you success in your job search." The position has since disappeared; I think they ended up not knowing what they wanted. Unfortunately, I left the process feeling that my time had been wasted.
