Completed online application, including submitting Letter of Intent. Was notified that I was chosen for a phone interview; given 24 hrs. to sign-up for a slot within the next week. (NOTE: Previous candidates have mentioned having had to complete the reading and online assignment prior to this call, but this was not specified in the directions nor was it mentioned during the call.) Received a call (on-time!) from a recent TCM corps member, who had served in my region recently. We went over the rules of the call (phone interviews can be awkward, will be asking a series of questions to get to know me, etc.) and then proceeded. Interviewer very professional and unemotional—seemed to be reading a list of questions and taking notes; didn't ask any real follow-up questions to delve deeper. Couldn't get any sense of how I was connecting, but did get one or two laughs out of them. Was done within 25 minutes—very quick and simple.

The interview was very different from most interviews but I was definitely well-prepared with the resources that TFA had offered in preparation. My interviewer was very nice and it often felt like a conversation between us about whatever question was asked which was nice.
