Candidatei-me por indicação de um funcionário. O processo levou 3 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Terapeak (Toronto, ON) em nov. de 2016
Entrevista
The position I was interviewing for was Full Stack Developer. I was referred by an employee.
1. A call with the recruiter, during which we discussed the position, the company and my experience.
2. An on-site interview: first a behavioral and general one with the recruiter, then two technical ones. During the HR interview we discussed various work situations, my strengths, achievements, failings, etc. The technical questions were within my competencies, mostly Java, Spring and SQL, some Frontend.
After that the recruiter showed me the office and introduced me to the team. We discussed the technologies and software they use, the kind of work to be expected on the team, their everyday work lives. Everyone was very friendly and cordial. You really get the impression that these people communicate and work together comfortably. Also the location is superb, you can get from the subway to the office without going outside almost at all! Beautiful location.
3. A day later I got a short online assessment to fill, behavioral questions, to check for team/job compatibility. My professional references were contacted, both were pleased with the experience.
4. Few days after the on-site interview I had a phone call with the CTO. It was mostly about the company and the kind of work they do.
5. Few days after that I got an offer.
The whole process took 3 weeks, but mostly because of a longer break between steps 1 and 2, where I was otherwise occupied. Once I've had the on-site interview the rest of the process took less than a week - so very quick and streamlined I must say. The amount of behavioral questions was higher than what I'm used to, but I guess that's how they get people who get along well.
Terapeak looks like a nice place to work at. The older interview reviews on here must have been taken into consideration - the recruitment process was smooth, quick and pleasant. I did not accept the offer due to an unforeseen change in my personal situation. The company and recruiter made a very good impression on me. Looks like a great place to develop your skills in both Frontend and Backend, work with the newest technologies and big data on a fast-moving well-managed project.

Overall its been positive...the folks who interviewed me seemed to understand technology in general...but didnt expose much about what kind of tech they are using.
The only thing I noticed on linkedin is that they are a lot of past employees which Im still trying to understand why.

I have never met a company so boorish or inconsiderate of your time, and I can relate to the experience of the other interviewer. So, let's go through the process. First, they ask you to interview three or four people on the phone, and then ask for four or five references. No problem, they are doing their due diligence. Then, they schedule a call with the VP. The first time, he cancels less than 30 minutes before the call. Then, they try to schedule another call, never asking you if it's a good time. So, I try again. Once again, the VP cancels the scheduled call less than an hour beforehand. After several attempts, they try to schedule another call, and I finally respond "...no longer interested in Terapeak. Thank you for your consideration." The bottom line is if a company doesn't respect you during the hiring and interview process, how do you think they will treat you once you're hired?
