      The interview process was pretty straight forward. I submitted my application and within 24 hours was contacted by a recruiter to schedule a screening call. The interviewer was friendly and gave an overview of the role. They're looking for people to do heavy outbounding - from what I gathered there's very little, if any SDR support or leads so you have to generate all your own leads and business + closing. They'll throw you 500 cold leads in the beginning to get started. Personally, not my cup of tea but it could work for someone out there that's into a 100% hunter role. They salary range is also on the much lower end compared to what other companies are offering for MM AE roles.

      Essentially, I applied for this position after declining a similar role with the Uber Eats division, as the recruiter reached out to me multiple times, expressing how impressed she was with my resume and background. I decided to accept her invitation since it was for Uber for Business and because the interest in my profile seemed genuine. However, after preparing for my interview and setting aside time for it, the recruiter informed me, almost immediately, that she couldn’t proceed with my application due to an insufficient assessment score, which she claimed wasn’t on record. This surprised me, as I completed the assessment for the Uber Eats position and was advanced to the interview stage without issue. This experience shows not only a lack of preparation on the recruiter’s part—perhaps even without reviewing my resume—but also a concerning level of internal disorganization. We’re talking about a professional opportunity, not a casual meeting. Additionally, the lack of empathy was clear; the recruiter could only apologize repeatedly, which felt inadequate. Once again, this demonstrates how companies like Uber prioritize quantity over quality. Best regards
