Entrevista
I had a screening with HR where we went over the standard introductory information. It was indicated that while I would be set up to speak with the Hiring Manager, I had to complete a case study ahead of the HM meeting. This case study took several hours. The call with the HM went very well, and at the end of it, I was told I would hear from HR about next steps. Over the next month, I followed up with HR twice. Up until that point, HR had been personable and responsive. I never heard from HR again. When done properly, candidates expend quite a bit of energy preparing for interviews and completing the case studies. In turn, companies such as Uber should treat candidates with the dignity and respect they deserve. Please do not leave candidates to assume that after 4+ weeks of being ghosted that they have not been selected to move forward. Not all applicants can be contacted. But candidates deserve some final feedback/decision if they have been through any amount of interviews.

The questions were the typical introductory inquiries to gauge interest and experience. The panel interviews are likely considerably more involved, but I did not get that far.

Proceso largo, con varias entrevistas e incluye la preparación de un caso práctico que hay que presentar ante un panel conformado por equipos crosfuncionales. Hay buen seguimiento por parte de RH, lo cual elimina un poco la ansiedad al ser un proceso largo.

Entrevista
It all started great, quick reaction from recruiter, clear process, clear first call. Good match in terms of role requirements and candidate experience, recruiter promised to speak to hiring manager to check in with her on a specific point and get back to me with any result (whether we continue or not). Recruiter ghosted me, even after sending an email and asking on an update, no reaction.
Doesn't speak good for the company.
