      Entrevista

Once your application is submitted a recruiter will send a standard email congratulating you on being selected for an interview. The email will contain information on the interview: date, time, location, what to bring and sometimes even what to wear (e.g... business casual, no jeans). You have to respond to that email and confirm you will be attending the interview. When arrive at the location, you sign in and wait for the interviewers to arrive. They allow you to sign in 30-minutes early and will conduct the interviews according to the sign-up sheet, beginning with the first person and so forth. If you want to be at the top of the list, I recommend you get there at least 45-minutes early and wait for the reception to let you in. That's just "my" suggestion. Once the interviewers arrive, everyone signed in at the appropriate time will be escorted upstairs to the training room. There you will be introduced to recruiters/trainers and provided information on the Ramp Agent position. You will then watch a short presentation of the benefits offered to part-time, temporary Ramp Agents, then the floor will be open for any and all questions. I recommend you ask questions. While the question session is taking place they are calling names in order of who first arrived and signed in to begin the interviews. You meet one on one with an interviewer down stairs. They will ask for your resume, so DO NOT show up without one! They conduct interviews by way of the STAR method and look at your resume.. If you are not familiar with STAR, research it. They ask four questions in which "some" of the questions have three answers. On the STAR questions, you have to answer all three parts if you want to make it through the interview. Against, research STAR interview method so you're ready for it. If you are selected to go through the next phase of interviewing, you are led back up stairs where you are given papers to fill out and you wait until someone is able to meet with you to go over the new paperwork you were given. That person then assigns you a date and time to take a physical strength test, as well as your drug test, and hearing and vision tests. A physical strength test is mandatory for the Ramp Agent position and you have to pass that before you can do your drug test and/or hearing and vision tests. Once you have the date and time for those tests, you are all done with the interview process.
