I was asked to complete a personality exam before the interview by the recruiter. The office is pretty old-fashioned with very little decorations. The interview took place in the CEO's office. There was a monitor behind the CEO with the results of the personality exam in large print, detailing what areas I was above or below average on. It felt like a test but could have been an honest mistake. I knew early on that this would not be a good fit but it was important to me to work hard during the interview to build my interviewing skills. I thought the interview went alright. He spoke for approximately 85% of the time, taking occasional breaks to then ask what I thought about what he was just talking about. When he asked me about the personality exam, I kind of made fun of it but he played along. On the way out the door he said he'd let me know their decision in a few days and gave me his business card. I never followed up with him or the recruiter and never heard back from them.
