i think the solution would be: we will assume that a manager manages 15 employee then he could schedule 3 shifts/day = 24 hrs The total hrs for one employee/week = (5 days) x (8 hrs /shift) = 40 hrs/shift = (5days) x 24 hrs = 120 hrs/week the break hours for one employee/week = (5 days) x (2:15 hrs/shift) = 11:15 hrs/shift = (5days) x (6:45 hrs) = 33:45 hrs/week therefore one employee works a net of (40 hrs - 11:15 hrs) /shift/week = 28:45 hrs /shift/week then an employee unit/day has a net of (120 hrs/week - 33:45 hrs/week) = 88:15 hrs/week total production hours for all 30 employees =(30 x 88:15)hrs total number of units = xx * (30 x 88:15)hrs
