      Entrevista

      I applied online for System analyst position and got an email from the recruiting team in couple of weeks, my first phone screen recruiter and then another one was with the hiring manager. both were very professional and we had a great discussion. HM liked my experience for another role they were hiring for which was People Analyst- Reporting and Insights. So my records were transferred for the other role and a new recruiter emailed me to set up a phone screen with another hiring manager. The new recruiter did not mention that this phone screen is going to be technical. Still I made it through to the next round which was take home Data Viz challenge in tableau, it took almost two weeks to get the challenge from Twitter, and I was given a week's time to submit it. Once, the data challenge was submitted, I received an email for onsite interview. Now this is where my real trouble begin. I gave my availability for onsite to the recruiter. she ghosted me for couple of weeks, then a week before I was suppose to go onsite, I was able to get her attention and we had a call. That's when she chose to take details from me, which companies usually take in the first phone screen - she didn't even know that I was an out of state candidate! I had spoken to the other recruiter for the role I had applied for, she took my details but did not pass it on to this lady. I was under the impression that recruiters are suppose to be on your side, if you get the job they look good. But this lady was reluctant to help. she never answered my questions on how the interview process looks like, what to expect, dos and dont's.. the usual stuff, which you dont really have to coax out of them. Because of her, I had to keep bothering the hiring manager for help, who btw, was very humble and nice. Onsite experience was good, the team was super interactive and made me feel comfortable. My interview experience was spoiled only because of the recruiter, she was outright unprofessional, unresponsive and because of her I may never consider Twitter as my potential employer again.
