If you do not know the exact answer, thats ok. They mostly want to see how well you are comfortable improvising and brainstorming about possible answers. If you dont know the answer, you should say something like: "if I had time to investigate on that subject, I would first check this aspect, that book, that model assumptions, etc etc".
