Our Arcadis #interns are still hard at work! Meet Jackie Schulte, a Michigan Technological University student majoring in environmental engineering. This summer, Jackie is a technical/engineering intern with the National Air Quality Team, working on air permitting and compliance, groundwater sampling, and creating spill prevention, control, and countermeasure plans. Jackie also interned at Arcadis in 2022, working part-time between internships during the school year. "I chose to intern at Arcadis because of the wide variety of projects I could be involved in, and Arcadis’ strong reputation within environmental engineering." "I hope to continue building on my knowledge base, apply the knowledge I learned in college, continue building relationships with my coworkers, and (hopefully) come back to Arcadis as a full-time employee after graduation," Jackie says. #earlycareer #youngprofessionals #ArcadisIntern

The plan incorporated major sports and entertainment facilities, resulting in a vibrant day and nighttime district with an open-air character. The centerpiece of this redevelopment was L.A. LIVE, which injected new energy and tax revenues into the sports and entertainment district, leading to further revitalization of the downtown area. As a result, there has been a significant increase in household income and employment rates, and it has become a precedent-setting hub, attracting a young, diverse population with access to a dynamic entertainment center.
