We were thrilled to mark our 30th year in the industry and our third birthday as Cognyte at Nasdaq earlier today! Thank you Nasdaq for the birthday respect, and thanks to our customers, partners, and friends from around the world for your ongoing support. As for our Cognyters – they were all virtual guests of honor in Time Square today! Our CEO, Elad Sharon, had this to say about our strongly connected team: “For 3 decades, our employees, some of the brightest, most passionate and hard-working people I know, have been committed to our mission to help make the world a safer place. Our people strive to meet this commitment every day, with a constant drive for excellence, and a deep desire to innovate and push the boundaries of what is possible in our industry.“ Here’s to the next 30 years and beyond! In financial investigations, traditional methods like the Hawala system often present complex challenges for law enforcement agencies. The absence of digital traces in low-tech operations makes uncovering these activities a formidable task. Leveraging AI-based decision intelligence like Cognyte’s can be pivotal in extracting actionable insights from seemingly innocuous sources like a Hawaladar's ledger. Our featured piece in AMLintelligence.com explains the intricacies of the Hawala method for fund transfers, the inherent difficulties in tracking these transactions, and the role of decision intelligence in enabling law enforcement to effectively piece together these complex puzzles. Discover more about this fascinating topic in our detailed article published in AML Intelligence.

"My journey began almost seven years ago when I joined the company as a Senior Java Developer. I work on interesting projects and the tech stack is always upgraded, which allows me to keep up with the latest technologies. My colleagues are wonderful, and we have become good friends. Very often, we plan vacations and team building together. Some time after joining, I was promoted to Java Team Leader. A year later, I was offered the position of DevOps Team Leader. As someone who has always been interested in DevOps and new cloud technologies, I was happy to accept this position. The new role and responsibilities weren't easy to learn. I had to deal with a lot of challenges right from the start. When I look back on these challenges, I realize they made me better. This experience has helped me grow a lot, and I am curious to see what my journey will bring".
