"I think we all share an ambition and objective to want to be part of an organisation where everyone is valued and listens to what our colleagues say - ultimately, everyone has a voice, but different perspectives and experiences are valued, and celebrated. In the nine months I have been here, I've already loved working at Kantar, and I want everyone to feel the same and share a sense of belonging. As part of our continued Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) agenda, I'm excited to introduce you to our six internal ERGs: Pride at Kantar, Women at Kantar, Culture, Race and Ethnicity at Work (CREW), No Limits, Parents & Carers and Accessibility at Kantar. Our UK recruitment team recently attended a graduate recruitment fair at the University of Warwick. With the help of two of our current grads, Alex and Alexandra, who brought along their knowledge, passion and enthusiasm for the Grad scheme and #LifeAtKantar, the event created huge interest for our business and Grad programmes. Katie Taylor, Resource Optimisation Director, Client Management, shared her event experience, revealing, "It was amazing to be back out at the Graduate recruitment fairs at the University of Warwick. Kantar was a popular stall with huge interest, and we were proud to have shared our knowledge and expertise with students and university staff."
Yesterday, Kantar went fabulous for Pride as Sum Ting Wong, make-up extraordinaire and star of UK Season 1 of RuPaul's Drag Race, gave us an exclusive make-up masterclass in London. Sum Ting Wong gave us some industry secrets on highlighting, contouring and how to pick the best eyeshadow palette, all whilst keeping us engaged and entertained. Our TA team in Porto, Portugal, has expanded and continues to grow from strength to strength. Over the next few days, we'll be introducing you to the Porto team: who they are, their background, and their advice to prospective candidates looking to grow and excel with us at Kantar. We introduce you to Márcia, TA Business Partner for Tech and Product. Márcia grew up in the small Portuguese town of Lousada and graduated from the University of Coimbra with a degree in Psychology. She is also a big FCPorto fan. Embarking on her career with us this May, Márcia shared, "At Kantar, there is a real sense of opportunity, learning and growth. I could see how it would be a great company to join because of the enthusiasm and motivation shown during my interview. Also, the opportunity to work and learn from senior talent and junior people within my team was appealing." When asked what advice she'd offer to prospective candidates, Márcia shared, "Be yourself! You don't need to overthink or give all the right answers because we are people interested in other people."
