Job Description

The Warehouse Assistant II is a qualified forklift operator, is independent and self-directed, has 2-5 years previous warehouse experience and has HVAC product knowledge.

The primary duties of a warehouse assistant include the following: operating a forklift or picker machine, interfacing with customers and maintaining customer relationships, conducting precise physical inventory counts, maintaining damages and quality control, and overall cleanliness of the warehouse.

Key Requirements:

• Qualified Forklift Operator with 2 years’ experience required.
• Independent and self-directed
• WMS Systems experience
• 2-5 years prior warehouse experience
• HVAC product knowledge from prior experience or 20+ hours of in-house training at Habegger.
• Unmatched customer experience skills
• Ability to interface with customers internally and externally

• Maintain a professional appearance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Clean, organize, and maintain all material handling equipment
• Sense of urgency
• Some heavy lifting required

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required
