We are seeking a stand up forklift operator for our production facility in Goldsboro, NC. This is a temporary position, with the potential for permanent, full-time opportunities based on performance and business needs.

Candidates must have prior forklift experience and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. This role requires working outdoors in both hot and cold weather conditions while unloading railcars and other bulk materials.

Forklift Operator Shifts:

1st Shift

*5:00AM - 1:30PM, Overtime & Weekends may be required

*8:00AM - 5:00PM, Monday - Friday

Starting Pay Rate: $15.00/hr

Forklift Operator Responsibilities:

• Operate a stand-on forklift to move, stack, and organize materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
• Collaborate with facility teams to ensure timely processing of materials.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior forklift experience required (certification preferred).
• Prior manufacturing experience
• Ability to work overtime, including weekends, as needed.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious.
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
• Minimum of 6 months of prior experience in a warehouse or shipping role.
• Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment, including modified hand trucks.
• Strong physical stamina to lift heavy items, bend, and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds continuously.
• Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Capable of performing basic math skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment or independently.
