Amazon interview process
- 1 or 2 round of telephonic interview
They will check on (willingness, culture fit, job fit) and standard behavioral situation questions (Be clear and articulate about the Situation, Behavior and outcomes) against amazon's leadership principles
- Followed by onsite interview process (same day 5-6 rounds of interview)
Situation behavioral questions against leadership principles
Each interviewer will check your behavioral aspects on couple of leadership principles
There could be some puzzles asked based on the type of job role, department you are interviewed for
One interview would be a bar riser interview

Tell me a time you went deep to solve a problem?
Tell me a time you went over and beyond your call of duty?
Usual Leadership principle based questions on past experience . You need to answer based on STAR framework. There are 5 rounds and then bar raiser round as well. Interview can take time based on interviwer availability
Peculiar to Amazon, there will be several rounds of interviews dependent on the level of the job, and each level will have questions relevant to Amazon Leadership Principles. The answers are debriefed by the interviewers who will validate the strengths and risks of the candidature.

Very much around the leadership principles. Nothing outside of LPs asked, questions were scripted and answers were expected to follow STAR format and add data. Sometimes feels like a push to add data, but still do so.
