I was interviewed at AWS for the role of Solution Architect. 1st round was a telephonic. 2nd was a hands on assignment where a solution had to be built on AWS and submitted. 3rd was another assignment which had to submitted and then appear for a f-f session where one has to explain the solution. I reached till this round and then was told that they aren't proceeding. My experience in 3rd round was bad.My solution was perfect and there were not much questions asked. So, the panel asked me questions on things outside the solution that I had built and went into depth on how databases are designed ( from engineering point of view) of which I had no experience and expertise. It was an ego trip for the interviewer. AWS claims that its employees 'satisfy' the 15 leadership principles whereas dont showcase even one of them. Shows how AWS selects its candidates. Waste of time and money.
