Entrevista
You first get a rather short phone interview, mine was the hiring manager. Two days after I was informed I qualified for the final stage which would consist of five back to back interviews. Since I'm not in the job location, we did it through Chime. I also had to do a writing exercise and complete a numerical reasoning test prior to the interview.
I just finished the interviews and must say that the experience was far better than expected. All interviewers were were very nice, genuinely interested in getting to know as much as possible about me and very easy to talk to. Interviews can be stressful, but these were more of friendly conversations, which in my opinion is the best way to actually get the most out of the person being interviewed. So, regardless of whether I get an offer or not, it definitely was a positive experience.
It is important to prepare though. Knowing the leadership principles and thinking what they mean to you and how you applied them in your career is a must.

Bewerbung & Screening: Meist über das Amazon Jobs Portal. Ein Recruiter prüft den Lebenslauf auf Übereinstimmung mit der Rolle.
Recruiter-Telefonat: Ein ca. 30-minütiges Gespräch über Ihren Hintergrund, Gehaltserwartungen und die Motivation für Amazon.
Assessments (Rollenabhängig): Für HR-Assistenten oder Spezialisten gibt es oft Tests zu Excel-Kenntnissen oder Fallstudien zur Priorisierung.
Hiring Manager Interview: Ein tieferes Gespräch (meist per Video via Amazon Chime) mit dem zukünftigen Vorgesetzten über spezifische HR-Kompetenzen und erste Verhaltensfragen.
Das "Loop" (Finalrunde): Besteht aus 4 bis 6 Einzelgesprächen (jeweils 45–60 Min.) mit verschiedenen Teammitgliedern und Stakeholdern.
Jeder Interviewer prüft 2–3 spezifische Leadership Principles.
Einer der Interviewer ist der "Bar Raiser" – ein speziell geschulter Mitarbeiter außerhalb des Teams, der sicherstellt, dass der Kandidat den Durchschnitt der aktuellen Mitarbeiter in dieser Rolle übertrifft
