I spoke to 2 recruiters and 5 different individuals from the team (some on the phone and then again in person) across both Palo Alto, Seattle and India. Onsite lineup consisted of 2 peers, the hiring manager, his manager as well as a bar raiser from outside the team. This was on the Ads team, where the expectations for technical acumen are rigorous.
Only one question dealt with a hypothetical scenario or strategy. All other questions both onsite and in the phone and video interviews were behavioral and tested on the principles.
