Tough and lengthy. I spoke to a lot of people on the phone, and meet with a lot of people onsite for an IC role. You meet with HM, Human Resources, Peers, other Managers, someone outside of organization. Be prepared for a long day, and the schedule will change likely.

This was for a contract position. I was contacted by a 3rd party recruiter, then was setup with and interview quick with the AWS team, It was just 1 step, 30 minute interview with Senior Recruiter. just 1 zoom call, got the offer the following week and started 3 weeks after that.

At onset, was referred to an open role, applied and was selected for an initial screen from a recruiter. Had heard the interview process was difficult and needed to be prepared. Really need to understand the culture and core competencies of Amazon.
