Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 2 meses. Fui entrevistado pela Amazon (Milwaukee, WI) em fev. de 2015

I applied online for an operations manager position. A recruiter set up time with me for a phone screen for an Area Manager position. It wasn't the position I wanted but I was interested because, IT'S AMAZON! Once I passed that I was scheduled for the next round which was an in person interview. I had to fill out questionnaires with open ended questions to help determine if I could make the right decisions. These questions were integrity or process based.
The in-person interview was a full-day interview, rotating between different stations at a hotel for 30-45 minute blocks. It started with a math test when I checked in. This was my favorite part of the interview because it fell right in line with the criticisms that Amazon receives about how it's a little gender biased against women. I was standing there amidst a sea of men applying for the same position. They had a tub of simple calculators for use so you couldn't use your smart phone. The tub was filled with gray calculators. I was given the pink one. Perfect. Coincidence? Probably. Did it make me think twice? Definitely.
Anyways, the test itself wasn't a breeze but it wasn't calculus either. After turning in the test, I waited for my first scheduled interview. I met with 4-5 different people. Most of them were fine but there was one interviewer who treated people terribly. I heard about him before I was scheduled to meet with him. Then as he walked me to his table, he trash talked the last person a little. Surely it was a tactic to get under my skin but it was awful and made me embarrassed for his lack of professionalism. He was decent during our actual interview. By decent, I mean we got through it but he was borderline rude and ended it in under 10 minutes.
The day was long and, though it ended with an offer, it was a disappointing representation of the company, not that it will affect my Prime membership...

Extremely unprofessional in my opinion. Talked to 3 different people, all of whom were wearing old sweatshirts and not looking at the camera. As I was sitting on zoom in a suit jacket, did not feel at all a place I would be valued at.

Conflict between coworkers, how would you approach resolving?
All virtual. STAR interview questions (situation task action result). Think of examples of tough situations you had to deal with. I think I had 2 or 3 interviews before I got an offer. Pretty smooth process overall.

or an Amazon Level 4 (L4) Area Manager phone interview, you will face 2 to 3 main behavioral questions, alongside a highly possible operational math screening question. Because L4 is typically an entry-level management role (often targeted at recent college graduates or individuals with early-stage leadership experience), the focus shifts heavily toward potential, basic problem-solving, and your ability to lead groups of people
