Amazon’s hiring process is structured to evaluate both skills/experience and culture fit, especially through its Leadership Principles
Key components are:
Online application
Initial screening (could be assessment, recruiter/phone screen)
Interview loop (onsite or virtual)
Decision/debrief + offer or rejection
Phone screen for about thirty minutes. Asked mostly behavioral questions and situational information. Described the role and gave details on the specifics of the job. Didn't get deep into the experience side but asked general questions about experience and qualifications
Everyone was very nice. It was a three step process but I only made it to the second one because I wasnt really prepared, they made A LOT of behavioral questions which I didnt expected to be honest.
